Officers of Imereti Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested J.D., born in 1992, on charges of illegal purchase and storage of a large amount of narcotics, sale and illegal purchase and storage of ammunition.
As a result of intensive investigative actions conducted by law enforcement officers, based on a judge’s ruling, including secret audio-video recordings, it was established that J.D. was selling the narcotic drug “Methadone”.
Police seized the narcotic drug illegally sold by J.D. as evidence, and ammunition cartridges were also seized as a result of a search of the residential building.
The investigation is underway under Articles 260, 260 (3), and 236 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which provides for up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
