Kvemo Kartli police detained 1 person on charges of domestic violence against mnors

Officers of Marneuli Police Division of Kvemo Kartli Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, upon preliminary investigation, arrested A.N., born in 1994, with a previous conviction, on charges of domestic violence against a minor.

The committed crime envisions up to 3 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that the accused person physically abused her minor children born in 2012 and 2016.

The minors have multiple injuries on their bodies as a result of the violence.

Law enforcement officers arrested the accused person as a result of immediate police activities.

The investigation is underway under Article 126, Part II, Subparagraph "a" of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
