French Foreign Minister says he appreciates the Georgian people`s commitment to democracy and freedom.

He made the remarks in Brussels ahead of a meeting of the European Union Foreign Affairs Council.

"Our messages to the Georgian people: We praise their dedication to freedom and democracy.

As far as the authorities are concerned, we have had several occasions to express our views directly", - said Jean-Noel Barrot.
