Within the framework of her official visit to the State of Israel, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, held a meeting with the Minister of National Security of the State of Israel, Itamar Ben-Gvir.

The parties discussed both the partnership relations between the two countries, as well as ways to further deepen bilateral cooperation.

Special emphasis was placed on the dynamics of relations in the security and law enforcement spheres and the issue of effective coordination between the ministries of the two countries.

During the visit, Maka Botchorishvili also met with the Israeli Minister of Agriculture and Food Security. The meeting emphasized the long-standing partnership between Georgia and Israel in the field of agriculture. The parties discussed important aspects of cooperation in the field of trade and economy. Attention was also focused on the steps to be taken to further deepen relations.
