The main areas of bilateral cooperation and prospects for further development of Georgia-Slovakia relations were discussed at the meeting of President of Georgia with his Slovak counterpart.

Mikeil Kavelashvili and Peter Pellegrini focused on deepening cooperation and strengthening ties between the two nations.

As they underlined, bilateral cooperation between Georgia and Slovakia was based on traditional ties between the peoples, shared values, mutual respect for each other`s national interests, providing a solid foundation for further development of relations.

Economic links and sectoral cooperation were highlighted as key areas for future collaboration.

Mikheil Kavelashvili expressed gratitude for Slovakia’s continued support of Georgia`s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
