As a result of operational measures and investigative actions carried out at different times in Tbilisi and Batumi, employees of the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Adjara Police Department detained the citizens of the Republic of Turkey wanted by the Interpol Red Notice: N.G., born in 1978, O.Q., born in 1989, and O.T., born in 1998.

The detained O.Q. was wanted by the law enforcement agencies of Turkey on charges of trafficking in narcotic drugs or stimulants, and N.G. was wanted by the Interpol Red Notice on charges of unlawful deprivation of liberty by force or deception.

As for O.T., he was wanted by the law enforcement agencies of Turkey on charges of trafficking or supplying narcotic or stimulant substances, bodily harm, defamation and theft of property.

The detainees crossed the Georgian border even before an international search was announced for them.

As a result of the investigative actions carried out by law enforcement officers, O.K. was arrested in Tbilisi, and N.G. and O.T. were arrested in Batumi. Currently, pre-extradition procedures provided for by law are underway against the detainees.
