Tamar Taliashvili participates in Organization of American States meeting

Tamar Taliashvili, Georgia`s Ambassador to the US, attended a meeting of the Organisation of American States [OAS] held in Washington, D.C.

Albert Ramdin, the newly elected OAS Secretary General, presented the organisation`s strategic priorities for 2025–2030, focusing on multidimensional security, integrated development, strengthening democracy, and human rights.

Georgian Ambassador addressed participants, emphasising that cooperation with the OAS was a key priority for Georgia`s foreign policy. She highlighted the organisation`s significant role in fostering and strengthening international relations.

Tamar Taliashvili congratulated Albert Ramdin on his election and wished him success in his future endeavours. The Ambassador presented him with a note of accreditation, formalising Georgia`s status as a permanent observer in the OAS.
