Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili held a farewell meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of France to Georgia, Sheraz Gasri.

The parties discussed the current agenda of cooperation between Georgia and France, as well as the ongoing processes in the region. It was noted that in order to overcome common threats and challenges, active dialogue and exchange of views are important.

Among the topics discussed was the issue of Georgia`s integration into the European Union.

The importance of further cooperation in this process was emphasized and the hope was expressed that EU-Georgia relations would return to their usual agenda.

The Minister wished the Ambassador success in his future activities.
