"We sent [the US President] Donald Trump both open and private letters, and there was a common spirit in these letters, which means that we want to renew the strategic partnership with the United States from a clean slate, we want to renew the strategic partnership with a specific guide.

This strategic partnership should reflect the benefits for both countries, both for the US and for Georgia. We hope there will be a healthy approach, and that the strategic partnership will be renewed in a sound form. This is our desire, and we await the response from the American side", - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
