Mariam Kvrivishvili, former Deputy Minister, will assume the position of Georgia’s Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, replacing Levan Davitashvili. Such a statement made today the Prime Minister of Georgia.
"You all know her, so no special introduction is needed. As you may recall, Mariam Kvrivishvili is a member of the ruling party`s Political Council and has served as Deputy Minister of Economy, where she has notably led sectors such as tourism and aviation with great success. Today, her responsibilities are expanding. I am confident that she will perform just as effectively as she did in her previous roles", - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
"It is a great honour for me to be a member of this Cabinet and to serve our country`s economic welfare and growth from the position of Economy Minister. All the knowledge and experience I have gained over seven years working in various roles at the Ministry of Economy will, I believe, enable me, alongside my team, to successfully complete ongoing projects and initiatives, while also setting new goals to continue our country`s economic growth. At the same time, I would like to take this opportunity to once again express my sincere gratitude to Levan Davitashvili for the fruitful years we shared, and I wish him great success in his future endeavours", - added Mariam Kvrivishvili.
