Traffic restored on Gudauri-Kobi section - Roads Department

According to the Roads Department of Georgia, light vehicle traffic has been restored on the Gudauri (Posta)-Kobi section of the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi highway.

However, the movement of trailers and semi-trailers is temporarily restricted.

In particular, the National Environmental Agency allows non-stop vehicle movement on the Mleta-Gudauri, Gudauri (Posta)-Kobi, and Stepantsminda-Larsi sections. On the Gudauri (Posta)-Kobi section, traffic is allowed only through avalanche protection tunnels.
