On February 25-26, in the Guria region - in the municipalities of Ozurgeti, Chokhatauri and Lanchkhuti, emergency doctors were on 81 calls. 44 people were provided with medical assistance on the spot, 30 people were hospitalized, including citizens who require various specific medical assistance.
Rural doctors are actively involved in the process, providing telephone consultations to citizens, and medicines are also being delivered to them on the spot.
In connection with the heavy snowfall in Western Georgia, a coordination headquarters has been created to deal with the consequences of the disaster, rescue teams of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have been mobilized, defense forces are involved, and more than 200 emergency teams have been mobilized.
