Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Georgia were involved in the development of quite important projects that were providing an opportunity to establish peace in the wider region. Such a statement the Turkish Foreign Minister made after the meeting with his Georgian counterpart, Maka Botchorishvili.

“For a long time, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia have been involved in the development of quite important projects, which have a fairly high strategic function. The Minister has already noted that the involvement of all 3 countries in the development of these projects is of paramount importance. All this, of course, will ultimately give us the opportunity to establish peace in the [wider] region. Especially, if we take the opportunities of the Caspian Sea in the development of both European and global markets.

The Black Sea region has the great importance… We already have exemplary relations with three countries - Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan, and this can be considered an exemplary model for other countries”, - said Hakan Fidan.
