Givi Mikanadze, Chairman of the Education, Science and Youth Affairs Committee, accompanied by the Committee members, participated in the opening ceremony of the fully rehabilitated public school N1 in the village Akhalsopeli, Kvareli Municipality.

According to Mikanadze, investments in the education, science and youth spheres are set as the priority of state policy: “It is commendable to have the capacity to solicit the youth in the municipalities by establishing the necessary conditions for their education and development. Our people, particularly our future generations, are the treasure that we hold dear. Investments in the education sector are directly aimed at enhancing the country’s development and progress”.

Public School N1 in the village of Akhalsopeli will host up to 800 children. The LEPL Education and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency was assigned the rehabilitation and equipment project, which is backed by the Education, Science, and Youth Ministry. The members of the Education, Science, and Youth Affairs Committee also visited the newly renovated kindergarten N2 in Shilda village.
