The Legal Issues Committee has approved the candidacies of Giorgi Dzagania, Giorgi Chikaberidze, Dimitri Javakhadze, and Giorgi Javakhishvili to serve as members of the Central Election Commission.

Prior to the voting, the candidates participated in a Q&A session with Members of Parliament, addressing concerns related to the Parliamentary Elections of October 26, 2024.

The candidates for the vacant positions in the CEC were identified by the Competition Commission and subsequently nominated to the Speaker of the Parliament.
