Officers of Marneuli Police Division of Kvemo Kartli Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested 2 citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan - A.M., born in 1987, and I.M., born in 1983, on charges of fraud.

The investigation established that the defendants fraudulently acquired gold items belonging to a citizen living in Marneuli municipality.

As a result of the investigative actions conducted by law enforcement officers, both of them were arrested as suspects. The investigation is underway under Article 180, I part of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisions the imprisonment for a term of up to 4 years.
