Georgian Justice Minister Paata Salia discussed future cooperation in the field of justice with British Ambassador Gareth Ward.

The introductory meeting focused on the priority areas of the Ministry of Justice - human rights protection mechanisms, state service delivery policy, reform of the penitentiary and probation systems, as well as the integration of digital governance and innovations into the activities of the Ministry.

The Minister thanked the British Ambassador for the visit and expressed his readiness to deepen future cooperation in the field of justice.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister of Justice of Georgia Beka Dzamashvili and Political and External Relations Secretary of the British Ambassador Jess Duckworth.
