As a result of operational measures and investigative actions, officers of Kaspi Police Division of Shida Kartli Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested M.N., born in 1952, on charges of raping a minor.

The committed crime envisions up to 20 years or life imprisonment.

Within the framework of the ongoing investigation, it was established that the person accused of the crime raped an under aged fellow villager using violence.

Law enforcement officers arrested M.N. as a defendant in his own house in one of the villages of Kaspi Municipality.

The investigation is underway under Article 137 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
