By decision of Giorgi Jincharadze, infrastructure works worth GEL 1,500,000 will begin in compact settlements for displaced persons

By the decision of Giorgi Jincharadze, Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, 1,500,000 GEL was allocated from the budget of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia to address the infrastructure needs in compact settlements.

Within the framework of the project, works will mainly include re-roofing, facade rehabilitation, improvement of communications, and improvement of common areas in compact IDP settlements .

Infrastructure works will begin this year and will continue into 2026. The total cost of the project reaches 4 million GEL.

The identification of needs in IDP resettlement areas was carried out this year directly by Giorgi Jincharadze and members of the Abkhazian government based on active communication with the population.
