Mayor of Tbilisi described the action that occurred during the OSCE Chairperson`s, Elina Valtonen`s visit to Tbilisi as regrettable.

"It was a very unfortunate action, but hardly unexpected. As you know, these violent groups are funded from outside the country. Several groups of `Akatsuki` gathered, blocked Rustaveli Avenue, and caused distress to the residents of Tbilisi.

As for the visit of the OSCE Chairperson, it`s as if their owner came to visit their own "issue". Do you know what`s most important? Society already understands everything; it’s all within reach. It`s clear who has vested interests in our country and what political processes are unfolding both domestically and internationally.

That`s why the policies pursued by Georgian Dream and our steadfast stance are primarily aimed at safeguarding the interests of the Georgian people and our nation", - said Kakha Kaladze.
