President of Georgia meets with UN Secretary-General

President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili, met with the UN Secretary-General António Guterres. The discussion placed particular emphasis on the significance of peace and sustainable development.

Georgia`s role in promoting peace and stability across the South Caucasus was acknowledged.

The meeting also focused on the global challenges we face today.

Mikheil Kavelashvili remarked that the Georgian government’s unwavering commitment to peace, stability, and economic prosperity remains steadfast. Antonio Guterres expressed gratitude for Georgia`s chosen path of peace, stability, and development.

During the discussions, Secretary-General complimented us on enduring significant pressures. He thanked us for pursuing such a righteous course for Georgia’s future.
