GCCA didn’t confirm the existence of an anti-competitive agreement in the Batumi Fish Market case

The Georgian Competition and Consumer Agency [GCCA] has completed an investigation initiated following a complaint from “Poseidoni 2022” LLC.

The investigation found no infringement of Article 7 of the Law of Georgia on Competition by “Golden Fish Batumi” LLC and “Zundagi” LLC, as no evidence supported the existence of anti-competitive agreements.

Additionally, it was determined that “Golden Fish Batumi” LLC did not hold a dominant position in the relevant market during the review period (2022–2024), thus clearing it of any violation of Article 6.
