The President of Georgia has concluded his official visit to Turkiye. As he said, “during meetings in Turkiye, we touched upon all topics, with the main theme being political perspectives – the fact that both countries are very interested in a regional peace policy”.
“Georgia and Turkiye have much in common. Our relations are at one of the highest levels. What do we have in common? Perspectives.
They congratulated me and noted that it is very important to have a government that is chosen by the people. It was loudly emphasised that we have in common respect, national interest, values, and peace policy. Mr. Erdogan is quite a strong leader, a defender of his country and its national interests. This is precisely where we stand in solidarity”, - said Mikheil Kavelashvili.
