First lady of Georgia joins Turkiye`s first lady Emine Erdoğan`s Global Commitment to Zero Waste initiative

Georgia`s First Lady met with Turkiye`s First Lady and joined her initiative, the Global Commitment to Zero Waste.

Tamar Bagrationi was hosted by Emine Erdoğan at the Presidential Palace, where they held a private meeting.

First lady of Georgia signed Emine Erdoğan`s initiative entitled Global Commitment to Zero Waste [Declaration was created in 2017 with the aim of environmental protection, waste minimisation and promoting recycling processes. Its main objective is to raise public awareness about waste management. Over the years, this declaration has developed into a global project signed by 15,900 representatives from 112 countries].

After the meeting, Emine Erdoğan gave Tamar Bagrationi a tour of the library located within the Presidential residence of the Republic of Turkiye.
