A campaign to issue ID cards at a preferential price for certain categories of citizens is starting

The State Services Development Agency of the Ministry of Justice announces a campaign to issue electronic identity cards [ID cards] at a discounted price for certain categories of citizens from August 11 of this year, which will last until September 5.

The campaign aims to provide citizens with electronic documents and improve voter lists.

The following categories will receive electronic identity cards at half price:

• Adult citizens who have never received an electronic identity card;

• Adult citizens whose electronic identity cards have been canceled due to their expiration date or will be canceled by October 5 of this year and do not possess a valid biometric passport;

• Citizens who will turn 18 by October 5 and whose electronic identity cards have been canceled due to their expiration date or will be canceled by October 5 of this year and do not possess a valid biometric passport;

• Citizens who will turn 18 by October 5 and have not been issued an electronic ID card.

Within the framework of the campaign, an electronic ID card will be issued at half price on the 10th working day, and the photograph required for the document will be free.

An application for an ID card can be made at the territorial offices of the State Services Development Agency, branches of the House of Justice and mobile houses of justice.
