Prime Minister of Georgia to participate in UN conference
Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia will participate in the United Nations conference hosted by Turkmenistan in the city of Awaza.
As part of the working visit, the Head of Government of Georgia is scheduled to deliver a speech at the conference on August 5. Irakli Kobakhidze will emphasize Georgia"s strategic location and its role as a corridor connecting East and West, offering significant connectivity opportunities to eight landlocked countries.
During the visit, the Prime Minister of Georgia will hold bilateral meetings with the President of the host country, Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedow, and the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres.
Irakli Kobakhidze departed for the summit together with a delegation that includes Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili and Head of Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
