Vice-Speaker of the Georgian Parliament responds to the Lithuanian government’s resignation. “The Lithuanian government that placed [us] on the persona non-grata list resigned due to a corruption scandal. Such people make unjust decisions. It’s interesting who will be next?” – writes Nino Tsilosani on her Facebook page. Following Prime Minister Gintautas Paluckas, Lithuania’s entire government is resigning today. Several scandals erupted around Paluckas in Lithuania when journalists uncovered his suspicious business connections. Based on this, Lithuania’s Prosecutor General’s Office assigned the Special Investigation Service to investigate these circumstances.
