Prime Minister of Georgia meets the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey

Prime Minister of Georgia met Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey, who is visiting Tbilisi within the framework of the 6th session of the Georgia-Turkey Intergovernmental Economic Commission.

The meeting focused on the strategic partnership between the two countries and the prospects for further deepening of cooperation. The role of the Joint Economic Commission in further advancing bilateral trade and economic relations was emphasized.

During the conversation, the parties discussed infrastructure projects of regional and strategic importance that contribute to strengthening connectivity.

The meeting also addressed current developments in the region and the special importance of peace in the South Caucasus. Irakli Kobakhidze reaffirmed the Georgian Government"s readiness to facilitate dialogue and thereby contribute to ensuring lasting peace and stability in the region.

The meeting was attended by Mariam Kvrivishvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia; Revaz Sokhadze, Minister of Infrastructure of Georgia and Levan Zhorzholiani, Head of Government Administration.
