"I believe that local self-government elections are incredibly important because they directly impact the quality of life in specific districts and communities. Over the years, many successful projects have been implemented, not only in the capital but also in regions, villages, and towns.

Naturally, challenges remain. I could speak at length about Tbilisi, as we are well aware of the issues that need resolution and the steps required to address them. We have ambitious plans.

However, I do not wish to focus on the opposition. That`s not my concern. They are indecisive among themselves. It doesn`t matter who runs or in what capacity. What matters is that we have already started preparing for the elections.

We are in motion. We never stop engaging with the people, and this continuous communication is a core strength of our team. The only party that truly has a clear vision of what needs to be done, both in the capital and across the country, and how to respond to the challenges is Georgian Dream", - said Kakha Kaladze.

When asked whether he would run, Mayor of Tbilisi answered: "You`re very eager about my candidacy. Would you, as a citizen, be happy if I were the mayor of Tbilisi? Wait and see, everything will become clear in due time".

"In August, we will present our majoritarian candidates and provide detailed information to the public. There will also be new faces. It`s crucial to go out to the people and communicate directly. Those who have served on the city council for a long time and represent our team have never lost contact with the electorate. From the very first day, new faces will be involved in this process", - added Kakha Kaladze.
