The truly astonishing results of another assessment by the International Monetary Fund [IMF] are proof of why you should follow your national interests and not someone else’s dictates, writes Speaker of the Georgian Parliament on his Facebook page.

“The acute economic stagnation of Moldova, which fulfills all of Brussels’ demands, and the economic miracle of Georgia, which is the object of Brussels’ attack, clearly show this.

But more than this joy, perhaps, is the anger when you realize that we could have achieved so much if not for the constant attempts to damage Georgia from the outside; if not for the hatred and extremism fueled by donors; if not the attempts by NGOs to drag Georgia into an escalation with Russia; if not the domestic actors acting with external interests and stateless people flying someone else’s flag”, - writes Shalva Papuashvili.
