Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia met Ömer Bolat, Minister of Trade of the Republic of Turkiye who is visiting Tbilisi within the framework of the Georgia-Turkiye Business Forum.
The meeting emphasized the importance of the strategic partnership between the two countries and noted the positive dynamics of bilateral relations in various areas, including political and economic cooperation.
The discussion also touched on joint regional projects and the positive trend in the growth of trade volumes.
Special attention was given to the importance of peace and security in the region. Irakli Kobakhidze reaffirmed Georgia`s readiness to contribute to ensuring peace and stability in the South Caucasus through dialogue and cooperation. He invited the Turkish delegation to participate in the 5th Silk Road Forum, which will be held in Tbilisi on October 22-23.
The meeting was attended by Mariam Kvrivishvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia; Lasha Khutsishvili, Minister of Finance of Georgia and Levan Zhorzholiani, Head of Government Administration.
