Kaja Kallas` statement is a part of blackmail campaign against Georgia - Kaladze

Mayor of Tbilisi responds to the recent statement by Kaja Kallas, European Union`s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, regarding the potential suspension of visa-free travel for Georgia and the recommendation to sanction 2 more judges.

"When it comes to the country`s national interests, the compromise is not an option…

So many lies and falsehoods - it`s unimaginable. This is part of the blackmail we`ve been witnessing in recent years, especially since the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine war.

Georgia didn`t yield to their demands - we didn`t join the [Russian] sanctions, we didn`t allow a 2nd front to be opened in the country, and they were defeated in the parliamentary elections in 2024. That`s why they now resort to the unimaginable, we hear it in the form of such statements", - said Kakha Kaladze.
