This is another, if I`m not mistaken, seventh absolutely shameful resolution of the European Parliament [EP], I think the entire EU bureaucracy should take responsibility for this. This is how the Prime Minister of Georgia responded to the resolution adopted yesterday by the EP regarding Georgia.

"This is not just a shameful act of the EP, the entire European bureaucracy must take responsibility for this. The blackmailing of the Georgian people because it did not return the collective United National Movement to power is very shameful. The blackmailing of the Georgian people because of this is simply shameful.

These people must feel responsible, including for giving the green light to the previous government in 2004-2012 for the most serious crimes they were committing. Torture of people, racketeering, seizure of TV stations, transfer of territories - all of this was given a green light to the [Mikheil] Saakashvili and UNM regime by the same bureaucrats, post-Soviet politicians who today speak in shameful language and adopt shameful resolutions", - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
