Prime Minister of Georgia met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan to discuss strengthening bilateral relations, with a focus on economic cooperation, tourism, and regional connectivity. The meeting highlighted the positive dynamics of Georgia-Uzbekistan cooperation.
Irakli Kobakhidze and Bakhtiyor Saidov reviewed the progress in the trade, economic, and tourism sectors, and underlined the importance of building on the existing foundation to further deepen bilateral ties.
Discussions centred on enhancing cooperation in the economic and tourism sectors, as well as expanding trade relations.
Particular emphasis was placed on the Middle Corridor - a strategic transport and trade route linking East and West - which both countries see as vital to regional integration and prosperity.
Meeting also addressed security challenges in the region. The leaders reaffirmed the importance of promoting peace and regional stability as a cornerstone of their cooperation.
