We, as a small nation, have no right not to pay special attention to our diaspora. Such a statement the Prime Minister of Georgia made during his speech at the forum dedicated to Diaspora Day.

"The state`s efforts will continue to be directed towards the implementation of programs that are dedicated to preserving the national and cultural identity of the diaspora representatives and to educational issues.

Also, special attention will be paid to youth, maintaining close ties between young people and their homeland, and to students who have gone abroad to study, who should create a successful future for our country", - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
