Ambassador of Georgia to Azerbaijan provided details regarding the agenda of President’s visit to Baku.

“Mikheil Kavelashvili’s would be briefed on the current plans, the existing programs, and the progress of implementing the tasks assigned by the country’s authorities. High-level meetings will commence with representatives of the Azerbaijani Government. A meeting is scheduled with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.

Meetings are also planned with the Prime Minister and the Speaker of Milli Majlis. A range of bilateral issues on the countries’ agenda, regional security matters, and, of course, cultural and humanitarian cooperation will be discussed.

Economically significant matters will also be addressed, focusing on major joint projects related to renewable energy, expanding transportation potential, attracting investments, increasing trade turnover, and other key areas that will further advance the relationship between the two nations”, - said Zurab Pataradze.

He expressed confidence that the Georgian President’s visit would further enhance and strengthen the relationship between Georgia and Azerbaijan.
