The Mayor of Tbilisi believes that the sanctioning of four Georgian high-ranking officials, including the Prosecutor General of Georgia, by the UK government "indicates a continuation of blackmail against the Georgian government".

"The blackmail and threats continue as usual. We act simply, we protect our own country and our own people, we don`t allow anyone to dominate our country, to use Georgia`s interests to pursue the interests of various big countries and thereby trample the interests of our country.

That`s exactly why they are irritated, but as long as Georgian Dream is in power, we will always defend the country`s independence and strengthen Georgia`s sovereignty", - said Kakha Kaladze.
