The Mayor of Tbilisi believes that today there are great opportunities for new political parties to emerge in the country, because, in fact, there is no opposition in Georgia.

"As for the opposition field, of course, in general, there are great opportunities. There is already a large platform and opportunity for new political parties to emerge, because today there is practically no opposition. There is a radical group that is marginalized and only poses a problem, both for itself and for the development of this country," said Kakha Kaladze.

When asked by a journalist how possible it is for former Prime Minister/Chairman of the Georgian Dream, Irakli Garibashvili, to join a new opposition force, the Mayor noted that he does not know on what basis such a statement was made by certain individuals.

"I don`t know where the above statement was made, it will be difficult for me to answer. Irakli Garibashvili is working, as usual. We are ordinary soldiers, as citizens of this country, we serve our country and do a job that, first of all, will benefit our homeland and its future", - added Kakha Kaladze.
