Registration for students wishing to participate in mobility will end today at 18:00

Registration on the online portal, students.emis.ge, for students seeking university mobility for the autumn semester of the 2026/2027 academic year closes today, 8 September, at 18:00.

The Education Management Information System [EMIS] urges applicants to complete their registration within the designated window and carefully verify their applications before the deadline. In particular, students are advised to check the current grade threshold and applicant numbers for their top-priority degree programme and modify their preferences where necessary.

“The automated mobility competition processes submissions according to applicant preferences and competitive scores. Priority enrollment is granted to candidates who listed a given degree course as their first choice, with remaining places distributed sequentially down the priority list.

During the open period, students can track the competition progress via the portal, compare their competitive score against the live threshold for their chosen programme, and make adjustments to their submission as required.

Specifically, candidates may reorder programme choices, remove or replace selected courses, add new options, or amend the overall selection list. Applicants must also check that they meet all eligibility criteria: ensuring they have paid the mobility fee, passed the required prerequisites for their chosen course, and completed at least one active academic year of higher education.

The “grade threshold” displayed on the portal is an indicative metric rather than a fixed minimum entry score.

Outcomes depend on the distribution of competitive scores among applicants, their submitted rankings, and available vacancies. Additionally, higher education institutions retain the right to set extra requirements, such as examinations, interviews, creative auditions, or credit transfer minimums, which are listed under the portal’s “Notes” column for each programme.

Any modifications to submitted applications must be completed before the 18:00 deadline today, after which no further changes will be permitted”, - reads the statement.

Applicants will be able to view their final mobility results on their personal portal accounts at students.emis.ge on 11 September.
