12 people have been charged with illegal logging, official negligence and abuse of official authority. The First Deputy Head of the State Security Service announced this at a briefing held at the agency.

"Among them are former employees of the National Forestry Agency of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, the Imereti Forestry Service.

Also, a representative of the Martvili Forestry District, two people living in the same municipality, and a similar case is related to Vani Municipality, where 3 people were charged with official fraud, production and use of fake official documents and illegal felling of woody plants", - said Lasha Maghradze.
