Mikheil Kavelashvili pardoned 59 people on the occasion of the Ninooba holiday. The pardon act affected 57 convicts, while 2 people had their convictions expunged. The information about this is being disseminated by the Administration of the President of Georgia.
"The use of the exclusive powers granted to him by the Constitution by the President of Georgia is based on the principle of humanism, as well as the state interest", - reads the statement.
