In the villages of Tkviavi and Kvemo Khviti, Gori Municipality, greenhouses were organized and fully equipped for displaced families. During 2025, 50 similar projects were implemented throughout Georgia, where displaced people have already started growing various types of agricultural crops.
The IDP Agency program, which helps internally displaced persons start or expand agricultural activities, is successfully underway.
In previous years, displaced families funded by the program are selling products grown in greenhouses, which is an additional source of income for them.
A new stage of accepting applications for displaced people and eco-migrants wishing to participate in the greenhouse support program has already begun and will continue until February 12.
