Irakli Chikovani held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador of the State of Qatar

Vice Prime Minister of Georgia / Minister of Defence held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador of the State of Qatar, Ali Yousuf Abdulrahman AlMulla.

Irakli Chikovani extended his congratulations on his appointment as Ambassador to Georgia and wished him every success in his diplomatic endeavours. He underlined the importance of strengthening bilateral ties between Georgia and Qatar, highlighting the value of deepening cooperation between the two nations.

The parties also discussed the upcoming visit of the Georgian Minister of Defence to Doha, at the invitation of Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Vice Prime Minister of Qatar and Minister of State for Defence Affairs, as well as plans for a meeting with his Qatari counterpart.
