Migration Department employees deported 27 foreign citizens from Georgia

Employees of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in close coordination with the relevant units of the Ministry, have deported 27 foreign citizens from Georgia in recent days.

Deported persons are the citizens of Turkey, India, Azerbaijan, China, Thailand, Turkmenistan, Germany, Pakistan, Egypt, Israel and Lebanon.

In accordance with the current legislation, they were banned from entering the country.

One of the competencies of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia is to identify and deport foreign citizens who are residing in Georgia without legal grounds, through intensive immigration control and other special measures.
