Officers of the Second Division under the Old Tbilisi Police Main Division of Tbilisi Police Department arrested previously convicted L.B., born in 1978, for inflicting less serious damage to health and illegal acquisition, storage and carrying of firearms.

The investigation established that the accused person, on the basis of a mutual dispute, wounded G.A., born in 1989, and fled the scene.

The wounded G.A. was taken to the clinic for medical assistance.

As a result of the investigative actions carried out by law enforcement officers, L.B. was arrested as an accused person shortly after the crime was committed.

The investigation is underway under Articles 118 and 236 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which provides for imprisonment for a term of up to 7 years.
