The Tbilisi City Court heard the case of Levan Khabeishvili and Murtaz Zodelava. Khabeishvili attended the trial, while Zodelava refused to appear in the Court.
The session was attended by Irakli Pavlenishvili, a member of the United National Movement. As he said, Khabeishvili is “detained for a political statement”.
“We are talking about a person who is detained for a political statement. This person made this statement about 12 times and on the 12th statement they realized that it was a crime?! For so long, a person has not been recognized by the court except for the factor of political captivity”, - noted Irakli Pavlenishvili.
