Officers from the Tbilisi Main Division of the Patrol Police Department, under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, have detained a Ukrainian national - B. K., born in 2006 - on suspicion of facilitating the illegal purchase, storage, and sale of a significant quantity of narcotics.

Following a search of the defendant`s personal and residential premises in Tbilisi, patrol officers recovered 153 packs of the narcotic drug "Methadone", packaged for sale in a particularly large quantity, as evidence. Law enforcement also seized materials used for packaging the drugs.

The investigation is ongoing under Articles 260 and 260-4 of the Criminal Code, which carry penalties of up to 20 years` imprisonment or life imprisonment.
