Employees of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have solved the case of murder and stabbing that took place in the village of Zeda Etseri, Zugdidi Municipality, as a result of immediate activities. The person arrested for the mentioned crimes is T.Z., born in 1993.

The investigation established that on December 23 of the current year, the accused person fatally wounded A.Q., born in 1960, with a cold steel and wounded his wife, G.D., born in 1963, in head area. The injured G.D. is being treated at the clinic for appropriate medical care.

As a result of immediate investigative actions, law enforcement officers arrested the accused person at the scene of the incident. The weapon of crime has already been seized.

The investigation is underway under Article 11, Part 109, Subparagraph "l" of the Criminal Code of Georgia, envisioning from 16 to 20 years or life imprisonment.
