Officers of Marneuli Police Division of Kvemo Kartli Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested E.G., born in 1993, with a previous conviction, on charges of inflicting minor injury on purpose.

The investigation established that the accused person, during an argument in a restaurant in Marneuli, used a blunt object to inflict bodily harm to A.M., born in 1986. The injured man was hospitalized, where he received appropriate medical care.

As a result of the investigative actions conducted by law enforcement officers, E.G. was arrested as a result of immediate activities. The investigation is underway under Article 120 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisions imprisonment for a term of up to 2 years.
