Officers of Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested B.A., born in 1991, on charges of facilitating the illegal purchase, storage and sale of large and especially large amounts of narcotics and psychotropic substances.

Law enforcement officers conducted personal search and search activities in residential home of a person arrested on drug charges in Ponichala settlement and seized as evidence a large amount of narcotics and 491 pills of psychotropic substances, packaged in 297 packages, prepared for sale.

The investigation is underway under Articles 260, 260-(4) and 261 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, envisioning up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
